Fun Fact: Jim is a proud AmeriCorps alum.
After graduating from TJ in 1999, Jim Pesek returned to teach here in 2013. The intervening years brought him to study and live in Connecticut, Italy, Pittsburgh, and St. Louis; he also taught at St. Louis University and the University of Pittsburgh, in addition to stints as a high ropes instructor and a trip director for teen travel groups throughout Europe. He is also a proud Americorps alum, having served at a high school in Pittsburgh. Through his teaching and work at TJ—and in life—he seeks always to promote sustainability, equity, public service, and adventure.
