Amanda began her independent school career in 2001, teaching mathematics and serving in various roles in student advising, residential life, and the performing arts at boarding and day schools on the East coast. Amanda joined the TJ community in 2014 as the Director of Residential Life and became the Associate Head of School in 2023. Passionate about creating a nurturing school environment where all students feel a sense of belonging, Amanda leads the Co-Curricular Programming Committee, has served on the Equity & Inclusion Committee, and helped to establish gender-inclusive housing at TJ. Amanda lives on campus with her family and is the proud parent of a TJ student ('27). When the Correas are not at TJ, they can usually be found at Walt Disney World.
